They are loved and spoiled from birth by the Billy family of Grand Junction Colorado. The puppies are socialized with other dogs and children. The Billy family only breeds their pets so this is not a kennel situation, it's the best circumstance you can find for the beginning of your bulldog's life. All puppies are selling for $3200 and in the event that Daisy does not get pregnant deposits will be refunded but if she delivers and deposits are in place they are non refundable. Ranger is a beautiful puppy with tons of personality. He is very smart and loves toys! He gets along with everyone and is crate trained and house trained. He is the last puppy out of a litter of three boys. Ranger is very cuddly and loves to watch TV on my lap at night and he usually will fall asleep that way. He is such a good boy and very obedient. He goes outside and comes right back in when I call him. He is always giving me kisses. When I tell him "No" he stops doing whatever it is he's not supposed to do. He loves being with someone and is a typical puppy in that he loves to play and run after you. We are working on "high five", "shake hands", "sit" and "stay" and so far he is doing wonderful! He walks on his harness perfectly and goes out with us to meet people and LOVES children! The boys will be here this Thursday night!!! They are 9 weeks old. These little ones are my great grand puppies and I can't wait to see them! They are English (directly from England), Hungarian and Russian champion lines. They are show/stud quality dogs. Common bulldog issues are bred OUT of these types of bullies. European English Bulldog puppies are held to a stricter/higher standard and are amazingly healthy with no in breeding or line breeding. It really does matter when you're looking to stud out your male puppy. My little ones coming this week are all still available at this point but many people have said they simply need to see them to make up their minds which one they want. They are $3200 and come with AKC registration, both sets of puppy shots and three worming treatments. They are outgoing, friendly and full of energy. They are 90% potty trained and very healthy.

Beefcake needs a home!!

Beefcake is 18 months old and fully trained. He is AKC registered with European champion lines. He is from Winnie's first litter and is a half brother to the 9 week old puppies we have coming this week. He is in a home where the male German Shepherd is alpha and doesn't want another male in the home. He is intact and can be an amazing stud dog for his family. Beefy is loving and sweet, obedient and kind. He has classic English Bulldog good looks and is fawn with a black mask like his mother. Craig and I got to be there when the puppies were born today and it was such a miracle to watch!! Five little perfect boys came into the world. Kimberly and Brent Billy are naming them and taking individual pictures for us so I'll send those out as soon as I get them. We are very proud grand parents right now. The Billys are accepting $500 deposits on the boys and two are already SOLD so there are only three still available. The balance of $2000 will be due when you pick up your baby in eight short weeks.

We only have one puppy left! Daisy Mae is very playful and fun. She is a total sweetheart and loves to be held and loved on. She gives as much as she gets and more. She is very intelligent. She still has a lot of puppy in her even though she's nine months old. She's active and healthy. Three little bulldog puppies need new homes. They are 9 months old. The two girls are Lilly and Daisy two sisters born April 13th 2010. Buddah was born April 17th 2010. He is one of our grand puppies. His mother is Winnie from our first litter with Harley and Tank back in 2008. His father is a Hetherbull champion with Marinebull bloodlines.

The girls are $2000 each and Buddah is $2800. He is available for stud and will easily make up for his adoption fee. They belong to my friend Rachel Reeves who is an EMT in the military and can't keep them because of the constant demands on her time. She feels she hasn't been able to spend enough time with them and is doing the right thing by finding them families. This is very hard for her as she loves them dearly. They are her "kids" and have been babied and loved since they came to live with her. They are house trained, well behaved, healthy, clean and do not chew or bark. They need homes where someone is with them most of the day and all night. She is only recovering her adoption fees for them and wants to make sure they get the best homes possible.

Tank & Daisy were bred!

Our boy Tank was bred last weekend to Daisy Billy of Grand Junction Colorado! Tank is on the right in the picture. Daisy has beautiful brindle spots and we think the puppies will have them too. If everything goes as planned she will have the litter the first week of March. We'll find out in a month from an ultrasound exactly how many puppies Daisy will have and we will keep everyone updated on her progress. Craig and I are always so amazed at how much fun bulldog families are. We bonded with the Billy family almost immediately and just love them! Tank and Daisy were so cute together and seemed to really like each other. We think their puppies will be perfect and I can't wait to see them!

These pictures are actually backwards. Dakota ended up with the scrunchie when she and Ruger were playing with it this weekend. We got to puppy sit for Dakota while her family went on a trip and we had so much fun! Cooper left us Friday and Ruger was alone for only an hour when Dakota showed up to play. Today was his first day alone and he did pretty good. We went to the bank and for a car ride. He stayed by me while I worked and had lunch then took a long puppy nap in the afternoon. He's been my little shadow all day though.

These pictures are so funny. Anything Dakota wants, Dakota gets!

Well I knew the day would come. Cooper charmed his new family today and now has an amazing home. He was our little boy for a few months and now he belongs to the Hoskins family. The good news is they live close by and we will get to see him all the time.

We are baby sitting Dakota, his little sister, this weekend so it worked out great. Ruger isn't alone tonight without his brother. They slept together like yin and yang and I was worried about little Ruger when Cooper left. But Dakota was here in an hour and Ruger started playing with her right away. Sunday night will be tough for the little guy but maybe grandma Adele will sneak him in bed with her! LOL

I taught Cooper to sit on command and even do the cutest high five. His mama Winnie could do that too. Good luck little sweetheart, you have an amazing home!

Dakota is now Joe and Kate Richardson's little girl.

We have found three amazing homes for five of our puppies! It's so wonderful when one of our babies is "found" by their special family. We have two amazing little boys left that need their forever homes. Ruger is my little cuddle boy. He loves to be held and have special time with me. He is loving and so sweet. Cooper is playful and active! He is the alpha male and fearless. He bounds around the back yard and pounces on the adult dogs! I just giggle watching him play. It's my favorite thing to do, just to watch Ruger and Cooper play in the backyard and then we all climb on the porch swing and sit watching the birds and soon enough Cooper will hop off the swing and chase a few. Ruger stays by my side and wants more snuggling. They are both so precious.

Ruger and Cooper are now four months old. They are house trained and know their basic puppy commands. Sit, stay, off, and NO. LOL I use a squirt bottle to teach them what they can't do so they are very well behaved in the house. Their favorite thing to do is watch TV at night sitting on our laps. Cooper loves Animal Planet and will sit in front of the TV watching very intently. It's the cutest thing.

Craig and I adopted a litter of puppies and they arrived today! These precious sweethearts are grand puppies to our Tank and Harley!!!!! I can't tell you how happy we are to have them in our home. They follow Harley around like little ducks and are so active and playful with a room full of toys. I had forgotten how fun it was to have little baby feet in the house. They are so pretty too. They all look just like Harley. There are four little boys, Middleton, Angus, Homer and Moose with one little girl Duchess. Dr. Geiselhardt is giving them their three month shots tomorrow and a quick checking over. I'm grateful they are in our home and we have the opportunity to find them their forever families. We are looking for five special families who can offer these babies unconditional love. They have everything a perfect bulldog needs. Craig and Adele,

Just wanted to give you an update on Brit since tomorrow is her litters 6 month birthday. I can hardly believe it has been that long. No cake for 6 months- but she is half way to getting her birthday cake!

I laughed when I saw you put that bed changing video of her and her litter mates on youtube- that pretty much sums her up perfectly. She loves to be with Jen and I anywhere we go. Here is a picture from last week in Boulder. It was her first time with us in Boulder. Jen and I both went to CU and met each other while going to CU so Boulder holds a special place for both of us. Here she is on the Hill greeting everyone.

I have some video of her trying to catch the rain in her mouth. Pretty comical. I need to compress it because the file size is too big to send. I convert them and add them to iTunes so I can take them with me.

Tank and Harley have been inseparable since they were puppies. They sleep like this a lot. All curled up and cuddled into each other. This is the two of them under my desk. There never is any room for my feet under there but they are perfectly happy to fill up the space and they use every inch of it. Snoring and just sitting on my feet. This is very typical for English Bulldogs. They need to be with the ones they love. Always up against you or touching you somewhere. They are smart and loving and so sweet. People laugh that I call them "kids" and I always just say, "Well, they are!"

And THAT is one beautiful litter of babies!!! They are two weeks old and just as precious as can be. Winnie is their mommy and she is one of our puppies from Harley & Tank's first litter in 2008. Has it been two years already?? All of the babies look a lot like my Harley their grandma. I told her she was a grandma and she just sat there. Didn't phase her one bit. LOL Today was Harley's birthday and I got her a "pup-cake" from Wag N Wash. They bake special doggie treats just for dogs. Harley is officially four years old now. If you want one her her grandbabies give us a call or shoot us an email. I have a feeling these little "tots" will go FAST.

Harley raised Mugsy. Harley's birthday is tomorrow the 28th and she'll be four. We've really been having a hard time with both the girls since they had litters of puppies at the same time. Somehow they just didn't want to share the babies and started to fight. For whatever reason it's been impossible to have them in the same room with each other since that happened. Today Craig and I took the girls on a walk together and we were so thrilled they didn't fight. They looked at each other for one of the first times since this whole thing started and didn't snarl or lunge at each other. It's been so hard to handle. Our happy family has been torn apart by this fighting. We've called for help from experts who have given us things to do to help out and we've done all they said but today was the first time they responded. We gave them treats and praised them a lot. I don't know how long it will take to get things back to the way they were but I won't ever give up. Last year when we had to sell Tazzie because she was fighting with Harley too after her puppies were born, it just about killed me. I still miss Tazzie. I always will. I had to do the right thing for her and make sure she was safe. I won't give up Harley or Mugsy. I can't do again. You just love these dogs and they are your fuzzy kids. I can't give up another part of my heart. This just has to work out.

Harley & Tank are grandparents!!

Tank and Harley first had babies in February of 2008. One of their puppies was Winnie and she was bought by Kristen Hopkins of Kansas City. As far as we know she is the first one of our "babies" to have babies!!!! She had five boys and two girls. All are healthy and beautiful. They were born last Saturday. She is asking $3000 for them because their daddy is a Champion. He is a buff little guy with broad shoulders and a tough exterior.

A few days ago our Tank became a new father! Bulldog cigars for everyone~~ He mated with a beautiful brindle Old English Female and they had four males and two female puppies. All are healthy and gorgeous! If any of you are interested in these babies they will be a wonderful mixture of the two breeds and registered with the Old English Bulldog Registry. It's a common practice for the Old English breed to mate with a stocky English male like Tank to keep the dogs smaller and wider in stature. The owners are wonderful "in-laws" and we just adore them! Some facts about Olde English Bulldogges:

The perfect Olde English Bulldogge should be of medium height to large size with a large head and a very stout, muscular body. The disposition should be outgoing, loyal and courageous. The temperament is to be very stable and trustworthy. Most importantly the Olde English Bulldogge is a healthy dog with out many of the problems affecting the modern English Bulldogs. Males should be free breeders and females should be free whelpers. The Olde English Bulldogge should be devoid of all breathing problems.

The modern Olde English Bulldogge is a reconstruction of the original Olde Bulldogge of the 17th and 18th century. Various genetic crosses have been used in carefully and thoughtfully planned breeding programs to obtain this goal. The foundation of most of today's Olde English Bulldogges can be traced to English Bulldog, American Bulldog, APBT and Mastiff.

These dogs were used very selectively in various combinations to obtain the desired physical and mental traits of the original Olde English Bulldogge. The result has been a good looking Bulldogge of great athletic ability that is healthy and physically fit.

Height: Males: 17 - 23 inches Females: 15 - 21 inches

Weight: 50 - 90 lbs.

Beautiful Baby Britain

Britain is doing great. She is growing quickly and starting to realize that she isn't as small as when we brought her home. She is one happy pup and I am pleased to report- excellent on walks. She is scared of her shadow so sometimes when the sun is out- she isn't into it as much but everything takes time. She loves heat. I have never seen a bulldog like the heat so much. She sits in front of the air ducts when the heat is on, in front of the oven when it is on and blowing hot air toward the ground and loves the fireplace (and we do keep the heat on- I promise). She is such a good dog. I have attached some more pictures. The most recent is the one in front of the fireplace from this past weekend. She loves her coat, too. If in need of any- they are 75% off at Petsmart so I got a couple of sizes. I have some really nice ones for when she is a little bigger, too (and that is coming very soon it appears).

Honestly, I have been meaning to check out the Melaleuca products. I know you are sold on them and anything we can do to make her life a little better- I am all for- just haven't had the free time to do any research. Jen and I will take a look.

One other note- the blog post has been sent to several people. Too cute.

I just wanted to take a second to thank you for allowing us to adopt Vixen (we did rename here Britain)- You were absolutely right- she is a very special little girl. She is so loving and sweet. Obviously for us- it was a matter of timing given our recent loss. While we will never forget Wrigley- Britain has helped to fill the void that she left when she passed.

She is growing so quickly. She can climb the stairs already but is not ready to go down them yet. We live in a bungalow with 4 steps to the backyard and 4 to the front door so stairs are integral to the potty training eventually turning into outside. We saw Dr. G. this morning and she is already 16lbs!

I am sure you are still busy with pups so I just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you again. She is in a loving home and both Jen and I are looking forward to sharing the journey of life with Britain.

She absolutely loves the bucket she took home with her. She carries it around with her from time to time. It is also where we put her toys at night which works well. We have a large basket that we normally store toys for her upstairs and have recently been using to store blankets. She climbs into that to sleep. So cute- at this size, anyway.

She is fully potty trained. She will go up and down the front stairs and up the back. Eventually she will be using the back stairs but we are making some very good progress. We are getting up with her about 3 times a night but she is making progress on that front. Jen wants to put her in the bed in the morning- but I have seen how that ends- me on like 3 inches of space!

I got my first real nip from her yesterday- on my forehead of all places.

She is happy and certainly a very confident (and determined) little girl. i would not have it any other way!

This tea tree oil is a healing oil. We use it on the pads of our dog's feet or any spot where they have scratched a sore. It heals fast and has a bitter taste so they won't lick on themselves and cause the problem to get worse. It smells strong and they don't like it but the truth is it works. Within a day or so the sore is gone or well on it's way to healing. It heals from the inside out and doesn't leave scars. My sister used this on her Doxie when she had surgery on her back and it healed up beautifully. It works great on people too! Sol-U-Mel gets out stains. It's a laundry booster, it's an all purpose cleaner. It's something I can't live without. I use it on EVERYTHING. When the girls had their C-sections I used it to get the sticky adhesive off of them. When my daughter came home from the hospital she had medication patches that needed to be changed every three days. Sol-U-Mel gently wiped away the sticky residue. It's all natural and has no harmful chemicals. It can be used without fear of hurting yourself or your beloved pets. It gets out blood, chocolate, ink and I haven't found anything it hasn't gotten out yet! I add it to my carpet cleaner and don't have any pet stains on my floors. I can't say enough about these pet treat vitamins. Dr. Geiselhardt, our vet, looked at the ingredients and told me he wished everyone would give these to their pets. And then there was one! Vixen is the last puppy to find a home. Which truly amazes me because she is one of the most beautiful puppies we had. She is perfect. Her wrinkles are soft and there are tons of them! When she is happy her little tail wags so fast you can hardly see it, lol. She pounces and plays so cute and is just fearless. She's a lot like Mugsy's little Eloise from her first litter. Even has the same spot over her tail as Eloise. Her personality is beyond cute and I just know her forever family is out there looking for her. We'll be patient and consider ourselves lucky to have her here until they find her. I can cuddle her as long as it takes!

Four of our babies leave us today. Achilles and Vixen are still with us for a few more weeks. We still have Harley's litter to finish raising too for two more weeks. Harley's babies are more active and animated every day. We do the tea cup pictures of them this weekend. I can't believe it's already time to let Mugsy's puppies go. This is the hard part for me. After all this time I hand them over and feel a little piece of my hearts leaves me. All the worry and all the work has been so worth it though. They are perfect and beautiful. I know what these puppies are worth, they are priceless. It's especially hard since this is the last litter for Harley and most likely Mugsy too. I knew we couldn't be bulldog breeders forever. There are only so many litters a female can have and unless you sell the mothers off after they can no longer produce you're done after three. So it's what it is. We're good at this and produce some of the most beautiful puppies out there but Harley and Mugsy are our kids and we always knew that one day it would be time to stop for them. They did a great job and both of them are amazing little mamas.

As luck would have it we have another baby going to a home with one of our families that bought a puppy from us in the Spring of 09!! We are so excited that Uma will have a little brother to love and play with in Colorado Springs. He is going to Amy Umiamaka and her beautiful family. His new name will be Moki, a Hawaiian word for "tough guy" and he will certainly live up to that name. We just couldn't be more delighted that he will have an amazing home with Uma. Harley is retired

Craig and I came to a decision last week that was hard for us but we feel good about it for the health and long life of our Harley. She has had her last litter of puppies. We talked it over with Dr. Geiselhardt and all of us feel she is done with motherhood. I've been so happy with her and she is the most amazing little mother to her kids. We lucked out when we got her and I couldn't be more proud of her and her beautiful babies. She has had 18 puppies in her three litters. Most of them live here in Colorado and we get to see them sometimes. She has three little boys left that need homes. If you're thinking about a Harley puppy this will be your last chance to get one. She is an amazing dog. I can't imagine my life without her and I know that all of you who own a Harley puppy are happy with that choice.

Harley had her babies on December 15th! She has four little boys and a little girl. The little girl who Craig named "Tiny" is already adopted by the Fichtelberg Family of Highlands Ranch Colorado. The boys names are Rambo, T-bone, Tyrone and Knuckles. They are fawn colored like Harley and the little girl is our only piebald baby. We are so excited to find them all their homes!

Two more puppies have found forever homes! It's always so wonderful when we get to see the new families our babies will have. These are special people and I know they have been directed to us for a reason. This whole experience humbles me at times. Mugsy had six adorable puppies yesterday afternoon! They are all so cute and we got an even number this time. Three boys and three girls. We also got three piebald (white with spots) and three brindle babies. We named them after Santa's reindeer, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet & Blitzen. They are eating every two hours and so far everything is on track. It's my 51st birthday today and I can't think of a more wonderful present than to have all my fuzzy grand puppies here and healthy! Mugsy did a phenomenal job and is doing well too. She's tired and sleeping a lot but she deserves the rest so grandma (me) is taking care of her and the babies while she catches up on some much deserved sleep.

For those of you who are interested in adopting one of our puppies please let us know soon which one you want! We have sold one of the little boys already. You can call us at 303-987-8243 or email us at www.tankrtots.com. We ask for a $500 deposit when you choose your baby and the remainder of $2000 when you pick them up in eight weeks. We give you a gift bag of goodies when you take your puppy home which includes a CD of all the pictures and videos we take including their birth. We give you enough puppy food for a week or so, a blanket that mommy sleeps with so her scent is on it, a booda bone and lots of information on how to care for your puppy. We give a one year guarantee and ask (beg really, lol) for pictures as your baby grows up.

Our puppies are never caged and sleep in a baby bassinet for a few weeks and after that they are in a play pen when they aren't with mommy. They are kept clean and warm and given lots of love and kisses. They get toys as soon as they are able to play and chew. We socialize them with our other dogs and play with them constantly. The bottom line is our puppies are very special because they have everything they need from the moment they are born to insure you get a bulldog that is priceless. Harley is Pregnant

Harley is pregnant! She had her first ultrasound today and the doctor said she has at least FIVE and maybe more. We just hope and pray all are healthy puppies and make it full term. Sometimes bulldogs "reabsorb" their puppies if something is wrong with one. We don't want to lose any of them and want Harley to be okay too. Mugsy is on track too. Her puppies will gain 75% of their weight this week. She's going to get huge. She's already big and I'm watching her carefully. She eats extra chicken and rice with her kibble now and takes her Folic Acid every day to prevent birth defects. All fingers and toes crossed her due date is December 4th. Harley's is December 20th. What a wonderful Christmas it will be~

Hi Adele,

I finally got a home computer and have been busy putting a few photos of Gracie on it. I thought I would send you a couple. She is so adorable and sweet in her princess costume - the center of attention as always. In the spring we traveled to South Carolina - road trip - Gracie did great and loved every minute of it. We were in Denver for about 7 days at the hospital and my sister flew out from South Carolina just to come take care of her. We don't know what we would have done without her. Gracie has such a sweet disposition and loves everyone. Everyone who meets her just loves her too.

This is only 4 of the babies, and mama who is in the green collar to the right. White is Fizzy who is mine, behind her is Captain and next to him is his sister Rose (they both went to one family) and the other boy in the front left is Dakota who went home to a Marine. We get to see them all the time. Lucy (who was my prima-donna-and not pictured) will spend Christmas with us. The only ones I have not seen since they went home is Spot (the all white with the spot on his tail) and Domino (which was the last to leave of the group-which we would of kept since he was awesome! He went to a family at 5 months old) Other than that, we see all 5 of them all the time. We love it. I was on your web yesterday, and seeing them as babies again, oh my gosh, I can’t wait until Fizz is ready to have babies, even though it is SO much work, it is SO worth it.

Mugsy is Expecting!

Last Friday Mugsy had her ultrasound and it was confirmed she is pregnant and will be due the last week of November. I'm so excited to see those babies! She's been sleepy and eats all the time so hopefully this time she'll stay pregnant and deliver some cute little baby bulldogs!!! For now we are waiting and taking good care of her. Who are we kidding here Mugsy is ALWAYS taken good care of! hahahaha I'm so happy to have a litter coming. I've missed the babies and the joy they bring into our lives. Harley does the cutest thing when I talk to her. She cocks her head back and forth and listens to me so intently. I just love this trait in her and wonder sometimes if any of her babies inherited it!

We are looking at the week of November 26th (Thanksgiving) for the delivery of Mugsy's litter if she takes this time. Harley will deliver on December 15th if she takes. So this Holiday season could be very busy if it's a blessed one!!!! We are so excited. I've missed having a summer litter of babies this year. It just feels so lonely without them to brighten up our lives. Once you raise English Bulldog puppies you are hooked for life. They are so beyond precious when they are tiny and you become addicted to their baby charms and cute little personalities. It's work, that's true, but it is the most wonderful job in the world. I wish we could have puppies all year long but we only breed our pets so that's not possible. Bulldog females can safely have four litters according to our vet Tom Geiselhardt. This will be Harley's third and Mugsy's second. So there are only a few more times we can do this safely before we will have the girls spayed. I cherish every minute of the experience knowing it's not something I'll get to do many more times. I'm excited to meet our new families who will adopt our babies and develop new friendships with them. We have enjoyed the families we've found for our little ones and there have been several that are dear friends now. You never know who you will find in life that connects to your spirit and dog lovers are a special "breed" of humans. We truly are thankful for all the people who have bought our babies and continue to love and adore them!

She weighs in about 42lbs, but still our baby. Mugsy can be stubborn at times, but you mention the word "bye-bye" and she is ready....loves those car rides. As you can see, she is her daddy's girl.

When life has other plans for you

We were supposed to have new puppies this week. It's hard breeding dogs sometimes when you get so excited about a new litter and it doesn't happen. Mugsy is a healthy girl and Dr. Geiselhardt said that she will be able to have puppies in the future so we aren't worried about that part. It's just hard to have expected those little ones and not have them. This has been a sad week for me because of that. Life can have other plans for you and things work out the way they are meant to. I firmly believe that. My daughter has tumors that need surgery and I needed to be focused on her needs right now. It will all work out as it's supposed to I'm confident in that.

Harley, Mugsy and Tank are doing great. I took Tank in a few days ago for an allergy shot. There is something in the air this year in Colorado that has really been bothering him. He rubs his little face against things to scratch it. When I see him doing this I put baby soap on a clean white wash cloth and gently wash his face. Then dry his folds with a paper towel. He is so good about letting me do this. I think it feels good to him and it's very important that he not scratch his eye because it can cause blindness if he digs himself into things with his face.

I've noticed that he whines a lot in the mornings ever since Taz left. We have stairs that go up to our bed so he can come up whenever he wants but he chooses to sit by me on the floor and whine at me until I wake up in the morning and look at him. He has the cutest little expectant face. I don't know what he wants and wish I could read his mind. He has his water and food and won't go outside when I offer that and this whining started when Taz left. I looked it up online and it said that adult dogs can mourn or feel anxiety over a missing house mate for a while. I wish I could talk to him about it but I can't so we do whatever we can to reassure him that everything will be okay.

Through all the arguing the girls did Tank always stayed neutral. He saw them fight and would nip at whoever was causing the trouble as if he were trying to be the peacemaker. I think he just wanted everyone to love each other like they used to and it was sad to see that was never going to happen. He feels the loss like we do. Harley and Mugsy are okay with it. I've seen Harley try and tug at Mugsy and get her to play with her like Taz would and Mugsy doesn't play the way Tazzie did. I used to laugh so hard to watch Taz and Harley chase each other from one end of the house to the other and Taz really gave Harley a run for her money. They were both toy thieves and would grab each other's toys and run like crazy in the opposite direction until the other one would get it back and do the same thing the other way. It was so comical. I know Harley misses that. Mugsy is so gentle and sweet she doesn't steal toys and she is a lover not a fighter.

Dogs have personalities like people do. Although it's quieter now I think the dogs are finally getting back to normal. It's peaceful and even though we didn't get our summer litter this year we feel that when Harley goes into heat this summer we will get a nice litter for Christmas. There are so many people looking for exceptional bulldogs and we want to give each of them one of our babies!

One thing that is important to note, if you are looking for an English Bulldog puppy take the time to get to know your breeder. We do give preference to those who take the time to get to know us and our pets. It only stands to reason that by doing that and creating a relationship with us you will be considered first if there are only a few babies in the litter. It's the same for any bulldog family who breeds and raises babies.

We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and if you have a bulldog you keep your baby cool and in the Air Conditioning. Give them lots of ice chips and love!!!

It was great fun. The kids are just having a blast playing with little Tazzie - she is such a ball of joy!

We all had the biggest laugh and still do when we retell the story of the evening Jasper and Tazzie both jumped through the door of our pop-up camper at the same time - mind you, there is barely enough space for one person to walk in and turn around...Well, when they both jumped in at the same time. Tazzie got stuck under Jasper's legs and then neither one could move forward or turn around - talk about STUCK! We had to ease them out backwards the same way they got in...

I have just visited your web site. I must say that it is very impressive. You have beautiful children (bulldogs). My wife and I raise bulldogs also and can validate everything you have to say on your "why Bulldogs are so expensive" page. They really are almost human. Ours get there feelings hurt and sometimes when we put them to bed, and they are not quite ready, they will sulk and won't eat their "go to bed treats". It's funny to see.

I have a picture of three generations of our dogs that is pretty cool. Our biggest kid (on the right as you look at the picture) is Vickie. Next to her is her daughter Kadee, and next to Kadee is her daughter Maggie. Maggie lives in Houston, TX with my brother in law. We live in Siloam Springs, AR. (extreme northwest Arkansas).

Hello Adele!

Just some pictures of Crusher! I can only attach three so if you want more let me know. I do want to get out there to see you some time and bring Crusher with so I haven't forgotten that! By the way...do they always sleep with their tongues out? Luke and I keep trying to tell her that her tongue gets all dry when she sleeps with it out like that but she just lets it hang out:)

She is SO good! She is like 90% potty trained. We just have to work on the deck. She thinks because she is "outside" she can pee. But the good news is that yesterday she came to the door on the deck, then went down stairs to "ask" to go out and then did her stuff outside! YEA!!!

Most of the time that we have had her I have seen physical development but I feel like these past two weeks I see a huge increase in mental development. She is exploring more and is understanding our commands better and quicker. She is very interested in everything that we do. She will just sit and watch us most days. SO CUTE!

Crusher has lost LOTS of teeth. I think that all the front uppers have been lost and now she is working on the bottom teeth. So we keep a huge stock of ice for her to chew on. I think that it soothes her mouth. Poor baby.

Luke just got a 50' tv. She used to watch the 25'er but you should see her now. I love that bullies watch tv.

Crusher is pretty fearless...except when it comes to fireworks. That was a bust. I hope that she is not scarred for life. The humans had fun though! It was especially cool to have Luke home for the fourth. Nothing like saying thank you to a solider, who happens to also be the love of your life, on the forth. THANK YOU TROOPS!! GOD BLESS YOU!!

Thank you so much for your kind words. Yes Tazzie is very much spoiled and loved. We had the most wonderful Father's Day yesterday thanks to her! We had such a fun time shopping for all her essentials. Wyatt even took along his own money to buy her some toys himself.

She has made a very smooth adjustment. The first night she got up a few times and was restless, but I was constantly up with her and assuring her, trying to make her feel secure and comfortable. Last night was perfect - she slept like a baby the entire time. Her favorite spot is on our bed, between Neil and I stretched from our knees to our feet.

Our little family feels so normal and "just right" with Tazzie - as if it was meant to be. She follows me around from room to room and takes naps either at my feet or in her little green bed in the living room. Jasper has a new spark thanks to her, and the two of them get along fantastically.

We have an appointment with Dr. Tom for Friday. Her vitamins are on the way and she's been eating her bulldog food just fine. We've been using Puperronis as her treat (Jasper now seems to like them as well) when praciting our "good manners." When you come over you'll have to show me the signs and words you use for her different behaviors - I want to be as consistent as possible.

Taz has a new home

Craig and I are so grateful to have found Kim and Neil Wiser. They have adopted our little Taz and she is loved and wanted. My prayers were answered completely and I couldn't be happier. I miss her so much but I know this is right and it worked out perfectly for everyone. Harley, Mugsy and Tank ran through the house last night after I took down all the baby gates from the doorways. Tank ran room to room looking for Tazzie and kept stopping to search my face for where she went. I wish sometimes I could talk to them and tell them things. Help them understand and maybe that would even help me to heal faster. You give your heart away to a beloved pet. And that's the way it should be. If I hadn't loved her so much it wouldn't hurt to let her go. This is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. But it's better for HER. I can live with that. She is in a place where she is safe and going to be spoiled and pampered for the rest of her life. Harley wouldn't let us have Taz anymore. I won't really ever know why that happened but we learned a valuable lesson. Never allow two breeding females to become attached to each other's infants. Harley wanted Taz's babies and when she didn't get them she didn't like Taz anymore. Simple as that. I now understand the dynamics of the dog "pack" and won't be making that mistake with Mugsy and Harley. Taz was meant to be a member of the Wiser family. I knew that the minute I met them. I just feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to raise her for one and a half years and I'm so thankful for the joy she brought into our lives. She is one loved little bulldog!

Today we did the ultrasound for Mugsy and she isn't pregnant. No babies this time. We were sad for awhile until we realized it was a mixed blessing. Our daughter Taryn will be having major surgery in July and with puppies coming it would have been hard to raise this litter during the surgery and recovery. Things happen for a reason and maybe this reason was to clear the way for us to be with our family. We are going to breed Harley when she goes into heat in June and hopefully that litter will be available by the end of the year. It's clear to me why bulldogs cost so much, a litter is a small miracle every time. We are going to miss the babies that we were hoping for but next time we'll be in a better place to care for them all.

For the past week or so we have had the delightful pleasure of watching Uma for her family while they go on vacation. It has been so fun to play with her and watch her with her mommy and the other dogs. She is so active and lively that half the time she wears the other dogs right out. She plays hard then falls to sleep and snores. We just love her to death! She is so cute and funny. This is the first time we have been able to "puppy sit" and it's been so nice to have a baby to hold again. I'll be sad when she leaves us again.

Baby Mugsy went to her first vet visit, seen Dr. Geiselhardt and had a good report. Mugsy weight is 19.9oz at 12 weeks old. A growing bulldog..healthy and looking more like her daddy every day. As you can see, she doesn't miss a meal. As the saying goes, "she's built like a Mack truck".
She has develop quite a personality and loves the grandchildren.
She can fetch her frisbee and tennis ball and is completely crate trainned. The whole family has just fallen completely "in love" with her.
We are sorry to hear about her mommy Taz, but we know that you will find a good home for her.

A home for Taz

We are looking for a special home for Taz. Ever since she had puppies for us last March she and Harley & Mugsy have been fighting to the point where it's no longer safe for Taz to be here with us. Mugsy and Harley get along fine with each other they just don't get along with Taz. Apparently there is a "pack" order to females and Harley is our Alpha and Mugsy is a Beta but Taz isn't a Beta, she wants to be in the lead. She and Harley fought over the babies and ever since then they haven't been able to tolerate each other. We had to make this decision recently and it's very hard to let Taz go. She is 18 months old and perfect. AKC registered, Obedience trained, house trained, sweet and cuddly and needs to be an only child in a loving home. We are selling her for $2500 with full breeding rights. She has a champion pedigree and would be an amazing pet to anyone who loves bulldogs. She is gentle and kind and this is so hard for us to part with her. If you know of anyone who might be interested in her please let us know. We will keep her until the perfect home is found.

Hi Adele and Craig...

As you can imagine, we have been very busy with our new addition to the family. Mugsy is doing great and loves the outdoors. She has taken on all the grandchildren around her and is riding in Ben's Monster Truck.
Mugsy is a smart girl and doing well with the crate training. She can "come" and "sit" on command and is no longer all white. Mugsy has develop spots throughout her ears and face, but that's OK...she has the personality to go with it.
Mugsy is very playful and energetic and is learning to fetch a small tennis ball.

Uma is so much fun - we enjoy every minute with her...
She loves to be outside - I think she would stay out there all day if she could - She explores every inch of the yard - climbs over things and goes through the shrubs. She loves to stalk and pounce on the kids - she is a little hunter!!! I caught her stalking Josh (Uma10g) check out the look in her eye.... Tatum took her for her first walk in front of the house - she did great!!!
She knows where her bed is and heads right in when she is tired.

These two little guys are brothers. Farley is from Tank & Harley's first litter and Teddy is from their second. Don't they look alike? They are both beautiful boys and we love getting pictures of them for our website and blogs. I couldn't be more proud of my grand puppies!!

These two little babies got to stay together! We were so thrilled that the Ryan family decided to buy Button so she and Minnie could grow up together. Minnie went home with the Ryan's son Scott. How special is that?? It's the first time that happened for us as breeders and we couldn't be more thrilled. They are so perfect together. Button is a mini Tank and Minnie is a mini Taz! Perfect name huh? Well we just love the pictures and had to share them with everyone.

All the babies went home Saturday. We took lots of pictures and it was sad but happy. It always is. Those last few hours together are so special. The babies seem to know something is up and they hug a little tighter and we play a little longer together. I know the joy they bring into the lives of their new families so it's a happy occasion.

Taz had a rough night last night though. She kept barking and walking the hallways, getting up and down on the bed and in and out of her kiddie pool bed. She would get up on my bed and look at me expectantly as if she was waiting for them to come back. She was a fantastic little mother and I knew she'd have a hard time when they left us. It feels strange not to feel the anxiety for the puppies when I leave the house. I worried for them all the time and until I hand them over to their new families, all in one piece and healthy, it's a feeling that is hard to describe. I want to take the best care of them because I know they belong to someone else. It's the same feeling I'd get when I'd babysit for someone. As soon as they picked up their child I'd feel a whoosh of relief because I no longer had to worry about every little thing that could go wrong.

I know I'll get some sleep this week but also have to get caught up on all the projects I've set aside while I was busy with Tazzie raising this litter of babies. The wash machine was quiet today for the first time in two months. It was odd not hearing it going. My sister has her surgery this week so I'm going to be able to sit with her in the hospital without worrying for my puppies. There seems to always be something to worry about isn't there?
